We visited the gardens on a wonderful sunny day and had high expectations. First tulip to be planted here. Sadly disappointed by poorly maintained gardens.

Hortus Botanicus Amsterdam is nice especially if you're into plants and trees etc. When you are a fan, I also recommend Hortus Botanicus Leiden.
