Als de muren van het Red Star Line Museum konden spreken, stonden we versteld van hun verhalen. Ze zouden vertellen over hoge verwachtingen en diepe teleurstellingen, over adrenaline en slapeloze nachten, over kinderen die hun familie nareizen en over families die hun kinderen moeten achterlaten. In deze gebouwen vertrokken een eeuw geleden immers 2 miljoen landverhuizers met de boten van de Red Star Line naar Amerika, hun dromen achterna.
