Lowa Renegade GTX mid Reddit

It's a good boot if it fits your foot right. Firm is good in a hiking boot. I'd expect that midsole to need about 20-30 miles to break in.

Lowa is amazing, love my Renegades. They fit like a glove from the moment I put them on, no break-in, no hurting or bloody heels.

Take out the insoles. Stand on them shoulder width apart. That will show you if you need wider, longer, or both. There should be no excess space or overhang.

The Salewa will have somewhat better ventilation due to what feels like a more porous tongue. Wondering if anyone has experience with either boot.
